Wasps monitoring duo

Alloa duo Darryl Meggatt and Michael Doyle will face fitness tests ahead of the Championship play-off final second leg with Forfar.

Meggatt and Doyle did not feature in Wednesday's first leg which saw the Wasps slip to a 3-1 defeat, leaving their second-tier status hanging by a thread.

But the pair will be added to the squad if passed fit.

Alloa boss Danny Lennon is remaining upbeat of the game despite the uphill task his side face

He said: "There was not a lot between us on Wednesday, however they never made any mistakes in their box and took their chances in ours.

"We can turn it around if we show the attitude and commitment that I have seen from the players in my short time here already.

"Forfar have a choice to make in terms of sticking with what they have or attacking, however our choice is easier as we have to attack."

Forfar will be missing banned skipper Gavin Swankie as they look to return to the second level of Scottish football for the first time since 1992.

Dale Hilson will fill in for Swankie, however Mark Baxter continues to be out with an ankle injury.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "Alloa are a good outfit but we showed that we are a good side as well. I am of a mind just to play in the same manner as we did in midweek as that worked really well.

"If we over complicate the game plan then we could be asking for trouble so we will go for the win."
