Hartley delays team selection

Alloa manager Paul Hartley will confirm his side to face Forfar at Recreation Park on Saturday lunchtime after fitness checks are carried out on Darren Young, James Doyle and Martin Grehan.

Mark Docherty has been ruled out with a virus and Hartley has therefore included his new signing, former Dundee United youngster Gavin Stokes, in his squad.

Hartley, who called on fans to come and support his side, said: "We could be a bit low on numbers, but this is a game between two sides going for promotion.

"Forfar like to attack and so do we, so it would be great to have a decent crowd to watch it. We'll bounce back from the defeat at Stranraer last Saturday I'm sure of that."

Forfar defender Michael Bolochoweckyj is doubtful after sustaining a knock in the midweek win over Albion.

Jamie Bishop has returned from his loan spell at Stirling and will be included if Bolochoweckyj fails to make it, with manager Dick Campbell likely to add new faces to his side despite Tuesday night's success.

Campbell said: "We got the win and we're improving, but there were things in that game that did not please me.

"We went two goals up and switched off with players getting caught out of position and we found ourselves level again by half-time.

"We made lots of chances in the second half, but some players were not sharp enough."
