Cup heroes Alloa without Ashgar

Alloa will look to come back down to earth without a bump when they host Dumbarton just three days after securing a place in the Petrofac Training Cup Final at the expense of Rangers.

Adam Ashgar drops out with a back injury and he joins Jason Marr (leg), Jonathan Tiffoney (calf), Graeme Holmes (leg), Iain Flannigan (back), Kevin Cawley (illness) and David Weatherston (hamstring) in missing out.

Stephen Simmons could return after illness with manager Barry Smith saying: "Wednesday night was a fantastic result for the club but we cannot afford to think about it for too long. Getting three points from this game is really important as well."

The Sons welcome back Scott Linton and Hugh Murray after injury to give manager Ian Murray a full squad to choose from for the first time this season as they look to bounce back from a 6-3 defeat from Hibs in their last outing.

Murray said: "Alloa have had a hard couple of games in a row however they will be flying after defeating Rangers. Our game against Hibs was a bit crazy as we were really poor in the first half but a lot better in the second half.

"If we are to do anything at Alloa then we need to start the way we finished that game."
