Alloa pair Jim Goodwin and Steven Hetherington absent for Airdrie game
Alloa will be without suspended skipper Jim Goodwin against Airdrie, with Steven Hetherington also missing with a groin injury.
Andy Graham is a major doubt after being ill during the week.
Manager Jack Ross has forgiven his players for their late lapse at Stenhousemuir last weekend, when they threw away a two-goal lead to concede a stoppage-time equaliser in a 2-2 draw.
Ross said: "We were 15 seconds away from winning the game when we lost an equaliser. Our terrific performance at Celtic in the midweek before looked to have cost us so I have accepted what happened and have moved on.
"Our opponents will be looking to bounce back after losing a derby match last weekend so this will be tough."
Airdrie miss striker Iain Russell for a second time this season due to suspension, however Andy Ryan is over a knee injury and will feature against the Wasps.
Head coach Kevin McBride said: "We are going up against a strong side in terms of ability and physicality and we need to match that. We went down 2-0 to Albion Rovers last Saturday and one factor in that was losing a really bad goal after just two minutes.
"We are a young side and mistakes happen due to inexperience but hopefully we can show what we have learned by putting on a good performance and getting a good result at Alloa."
