Alloa --- Morton: Match Report

Alloa denied by snow

Heavy snowfall put paid to Alloa's Ladbrokes Championship clash with Morton at the Indodrill Stadium, with the home side leading 1-0.

The match started in reasonable conditions but the white layer grew in the second half and with only 20 minutes remaining referee Alan Muir had to call time.

The only goal was scored by Michael Duffy, a tidy low finish from the edge of the box after he was fed by Burton O'Brien. However his contribution will be wiped from the record books.

It was entirely just that the two sides will have a chance to play again in better conditions, as Morton contributed to a passionate battle and were never out of proceedings.
