Struggling Alloa hold out for Championship draw with Morton
Rock-bottom Alloa picked up their third draw of the season as they came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Morton.
The visitors' opener sparked a flurry of goals, as Denny Johnstone's shot was pushed out for Declan McManus head home the first of three in five minutes.
It was 2-0 to Morton when Stefan McCluskey, who scored a hat-trick at the weekend, sent a rasping effort across the goalkeeper and into the far corner.
Alloa hit back almost immediately, with a Colin Hamilton shot taking a significant deflection and looping over goalkeeper James McGowan.
Johnstone forced two good saves from Scott Gallacher before the break as chances continued to flow.
A curling shot by Alloa's Michael Duffy went inches wide and the Celtic loanee was at it again shortly afterwards, this time forcing a diving stop from McGowan.
The hosts eventually equalised in the 71st minute when Dougie Hill powered in a header at the back post from a corner.
Morton looked the side more likely to snatch a winner but Alloa weathered the storm.
