Livingston claim vital victory at Alloa

Livingston boosted their hopes of Scottish Championship survival with a 3-1 victory at bottom club Alloa.

Jackson Longridge, with his first goal for the club, opened the scoring in the 11th minute when he slotted home after good work from Charlie Telfer.

Three minutes later, Telfer's cross was missed by the defender and Jordan White tapped in - his first goal since November.

Alloa reduced the deficit in the 19th minute when Michael Duffy registered his maiden strike for the club.

But Telfer played his part in Livi's third six minutes before half-time, with Daniel Mullen's lay-off converted by on-loan Samuel Stanton.

It was a first victory in eight for Livi while Alloa's winless streak extended to six.
