Shots stay suits Morgan

Striker Marvin Morgan is content to remain with Aldershot Town for the time being, following interest in his services from Wycombe Wanderers and Peterborough United.

The 26-year-old has scored 16 goals in 65 appearances since joining the Shots in the summer of 2008 and is happy to stay put at the Recreation Ground.

He told Sky Sports: "The only offer that I am aware of was the one from Wycombe and that was turned down, plus the Peterborough bid which was rejected a few weeks ago.

"I am obviously flattered to be wanted by those two clubs, but at the same time I am happy to be at Aldershot and I'm in no rush to leave the club."
