Masters agrees Shots switch

Aldershot Town have wrapped up the signing of Southend United goalkeeper Clark Masters.

The 22-year-old former Brentford gloveman had not featured in the first team during his time at Roots Hall, but has gained experience from loan stints with Stevenage Borough and Welling.

Shots boss Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have signed Clark.

"He is a goalkeeper with great ability and to add him to the group is a positive move for the club.

"I was aware of what he is capable of when he was at Brentford as a youngster."
