Aldershot Town goalkeeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz is looking forward to the challenge of becoming a first-team regular at The Rec next season. The 24-year-old Venezuelan has penned a new one-year contract with the Shots, having enjoyed a run in the side towards the end of last season. He told the club's official website: "I was pleased to play more games last season. I will be looking to have more chances in the new campaign. "We have had the experience of the Football League for one season now and if we work harder collectively and individually, then the results will be better. "From my point of view the run of matches towards the end of the campaign was important to me."
