Holdsworth joy at Shots start

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth could not be more pleased with his players after a dramatic 3-2 victory over Crewe made it two home wins in a week.Luke Guttridge struck four minutes into stoppage-time to settle a topsy-turvy clash in which Peter Vincenti and Wade Small were on the scoresheet for the Shots after Crewe had twice led through goals from Danny Shelley and Clayton Donaldson.Holdsworth, who saw his side beat Bradford 1-0 on Tuesday night, said: "It was a phenomenal game, full of emotion, passion and a lot of quality out there from both sides. I thought were we very decent at times."I'm just proud that they never let their heads drop, because, if you had looked at the home record before last week, their heads might have gone down."They've showed me they've got character and they shown me they've got quality, and there's no better way to finish a game than that."They're ticking all the boxes for me at the moment. They're rising to the challenge, they're doing everything they can for themselves, for the club and for the fans."
