Holdsworth happy with progress
Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth is delighted with the progress of his side after a 1-1 draw with Accrington.Rory Boulding put Stanley ahead in the first half before Darren Jones replied for the Shots seven minutes after the interval.Holdsworth said: "I didn't think we got anywhere near where we have been playing of late. I'm not going to try to fool anyone that wasn't a pretty game - too many stops and starts and moaning and groaning and people appealing for everything."I thought our fans were magnificent from the moment they started up till the end. I asked the players at half time if I was right to expect them to win against a very good Accrington side who were decent and stopped us playing."I'm delighted to be quite honest with you - we've had seven games, a great month and we are learning. There's a better attitude in the dressing room and they don't want to get beat. There's no relaxing, we came up against a good side who hunted us down, pressed us and had a bit more quality up till half time."We got to half time 1-0 and I was delighted. If it was 2-0 it would have been too far away from us. One thing about the game was that we scored from a set piece which we've been missing, which was a positive."
