Dodd cautious with Shots

Aldershot Town's caretaker manager Jason Dodd has vowed not to make too many changes to the set-up from previous boss Gary Waddock's time at the club.

Waddock left the Shots to take charge of Wycombe Wanderers earlier this week and Dodd has stepped in the fill the gap left at the Recreation Ground.

He told the News & Mail: "I've seen Aldershot a few times. The good thing is that I was here looking to see if players could step up to another level, so that shows that the players have been doing well.

"The players here are good players and obviously good enough to do well at this level, as they have been winning games. There is no reason why that cannot continue.

"We don't want to change too much, Gary has done a fantastic job."
