Dillon happy with Shots application
Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon has praised his players for the way they have battled the conditions to keep training on track ahead of Saturday`s trip to Rotherham. The Shots have been forced to train at several temporary sites as snow and ice continue to wreak havoc but Dillon is impressed with his squad`s attitude to the setbacks. He said: "It has not been easy. It is a bit like going to school and finding that it is shut and you have to travel to another school on the other side of town in the hope that it will be open."That would unsettle anybody and it is the same here. Players get used to routine to their training schedules but what has been so encouraging is their reaction to the situation."We have travelled from Ascot to Guildford and to Reading to find suitable facilities but wherever we have gone the players have trained extremely well and are just now waiting to play again."
