Terry Brown was pleased with his side's second-half performance on Saturday as Aldershot Town moved up to third in the Nationwide Conference table after a 3-0 victory against Forest Green Rovers.

The Shots struggled for long periods in the first half but stamped their authority on the game after the break to maintain their unbeaten home record.

"I had a funny feeling this was going to be a banana skin for us and we didn't play well in the first half, " Brown told the Aldershot News & Mail.

"But we had a chat at half time and the boys responded really well in all areas of the park.

"I was delighted with the second-half performance. We relaxed a bit, tried to play football and took our goals really well."
