Aldershot manager Terry Brown is not getting carried away, despite his side starting life in the Nationwide Conference with two wins out of two.
Brown's side have seen off Accrington Stanley and Margate on their entry to the top-flight of non-league football, but Brown is wary of expecting too much.
He told ShotsWeb: "Of course I am happy with the two results so far, but we are not going to kid ourselves. Both games could have gone either way to be fair and we need to improve the balance in the side.
"We still need to be stronger and get a lot tighter on sides. We cannot afford to ride our luck in this league and we need to concentrate on defending as a team, from the front all the way to the back.
"We are looking for continuing improvement from the players. That's not to say we haven't played well, we just have to be realistic that we can be a lot better.
"We have given away too many chances and if we keep doing so we will get punished."
