Brown aims for Shots repeat

Aldershot boss Terry Brown is hoping for a repeat performance from his side when they take on Forest Green Rovers for the second time in a week.

The Shots won 3-1 at The Lawn in the FA Cup last weekend and host Rovers in a Nationwide Conference fixture this Saturday.

Brown told the News & Mail: "You would hope that we would be able to build on what we did against them at their place.

"But Forest Green and Colin Addison will know a bit more about us now and they will know some of our weaknesses.

"We haven't lost a game at the Rec now for a year and there is a lot of expectancy from our fans.

"They will need to be patient, but I guess you could say that the honeymoon period is coming to an end.

"People are no longer saying to themselves 'oh, aren't Aldershot doing well' with an element of surprise."
