SHOTS ADD TO ATTACKING OPTIONS. Aldershot Town have added to their ranks by signing former Yeovil Town and Northampton Town winger Lewis Young on what has been described as "a short-term contract" until January 2014.    The 23-year old is the younger brother of England winger Ashley Young, has been a free agent since leaving Huish Park at the end of August.   Upon announcing the players arrival, Aldershot Town manager Andy Scott told the clubs offical website:  “He was a player I tried to get last year, but Yeovil needed him. He’s been on my radar for a long time.   “He’s very very quick – when I was at Rotherham, he played against us for Northampton and completely destroyed us. He’s in a similar mould to Ashley and he just needs to play football.   “He wants to play regularly. He’s a Football League player who we’re fortunate enough to get. It gives us something which we haven’t really got, which is real raw pace. Hopefully Lewis can come in and be a real asset to the Club.”    The deal has been partly funded by the Aldershot Town Player Share Fund, which will be continuing to support the club during this season.   “We’re very grateful to Nick Fryer and the PlayerShare Fund, who are supporting this deal for Lewis, and without them we wouldn’t have been able to do this,” continued Scott. “If people are able to donate, and help Nick out, then it is going to go directly to help a player who will be playing and directly involved in the First Team.”   Supporters wishing to donate to the Player Share Fund, should contact Nick Fryer at nickfryer@icloud.com.
