Young hails Shots spirit

Aldershot goalkeeper Jamie Young believes the spirit of Kevin Dillon`s side will carry them to the top of League Two. The Shots are unbeaten in their four league games so far and face a Northampton side on Saturday who are still looking for their first victory of the campaign. Young said: "Goalkeeping is very black and white, you either have a spectacular game or a bad one, so to get a positive outcome from the contributions I make is pleasing for me. "We've got a really strong base and people don't realise that - and I hope they don't because then we can play effective football without anybody knowing and there's a good spirit that comes with that solid base, so hopefully we can just carry that on and keep doing what we're doing. "I think it's a very tight league in League Two and it goes to show the state of the game because there are a lot of good players drifting down because of things such as budgets being very tight at bigger clubs. "The best thing for us is that we've had a very solid start, so I think we can take some good positive knowledge from that."
