Geoff Warner and Russell Clash have been placed in temporary control of team affairs at Aldershot following the departure of manager Kevin Dillon. Warner, currently Shots fitness coach, joined the club from Bristol Rovers in 2005 where he worked in a similar role. Clash arrived in the summer of 2010 as the centre of excellence technical coach from Reading, where he was assistant Academy director for 10 years. In a statement released on Monday, chief executive Peter Duffy informed supporters that while the club seek to secure the services of a permanent appointment, Warner and Clash will oversee training with the support of the senior playing squad. Duffy said: "We expect to appoint a new management team in the near future and I am confident they will receive a warm welcome."
