Vincenti: Shots will come good

Midfielder Peter Vincenti believes Aldershot are still adapting to life under Dean Holdsworth but are close to matching the best in League Two. Port Vale left the Recreation Ground victorious at the weekend but Vincenti is confident of success under the former Wimbledon striker. He said: "It was disappointing to lose on Saturday because I think that it took us a bit of time to realise that a team up there in the top five weren't any better than us. We were chasing the game from an early stage but were unfortunate not to get back into it. "It has not been that long since the gaffer arrived and brought in a number of players including myself. We are all still starting to gel and it does take time. I think that we are close and once we get a win we can push on. "We want to put on a show and for the fans to come and to watch us but we are all working hard as a squad. "For me I am enjoying it since I arrived at the club. I wanted to play for the gaffer but I will enjoy it more we start winning some matches which I am sure that we will."
