Spencer Out On Loan
Shots striker Damian Spencer has gone on loan to Conference side Eastbourne. Aldershot Town striker Damian Spencer has joined Blue Square Premier side Eastbourne Borough on a month’s loan as he completes his recovery from injury. The 29 year-old has been out of action since October after injuring his cruciate ligament in training, and joins Borough to prove his match fitness and hopefully score the goals to lift them out of the Blue Square Premier relegation zone. Spencer may forge a partnership with former Shots striker Jamie Taylor in a squad which also features ex Aldershot Town players Matt Langston and Gary Elphick. Prior to his injury, Spencer had made 13 appearances this season, scoring three goals.
