Aldershot winger Wade Small has set his sights set helping the club earn promotion to League One this season. Small penned a deal with Kevin Dillon's team following a trial spell at the Hampshire outfit and the former Sheffield Wednesday man is relishing the start of the npower League Two campaign against Accrington on Saturday, And the 26-year-old wants to help the Shots emulate their form of last season, where they finished above his former employers Chesterfield to earn a shot at promotion via the play-offs. Defeat to Rotherham in the semi-finals ended dreams of a trip to Wembley but Small is confident going into the new season, telling the club's official website: "I will just get my head down and work hard. "We have a good footballing team here and I think that this team is capable of doing well. They finished just above Chesterfield last season and I don't see any reason why we can't get to the play-offs again or even get into the top three. "Accrington is what it is all about on Saturday and we will all go into it with a positive mind especially with the pre-season going so well. I don't have any targets except to work hard and show what I can do."
