Shots Withdraw Sandell Offer

30 June 2010 15:50
Aldershot Town have officially withdrawn the offer of a new contract that it had made to Andy Sandell. Andy Sandell looks set to have played his final game in a Shots shirt after failing to respond to the clubs contract offer. In an announcement on the clubs official website, www.theshots.co.uk, boss Kevin Dillon confirmed that he has withdrawn the offer that was made to the player at the end of the 2009-10 season and that he is concentrating on other player targets. He told The Shots Online: "The contract offer was previously made to Andy but as he has not responded to the club despite a number of attempts to finalise the situation it has now been withdrawn. "I said earlier in the week that I am keen to attract players that want to play for Aldershot Town and I have a list of potential targets that would suit the parameters required." The 26-year-old is being tipped to follow other ex-Shots to Wycombe Wanderers.
