Shots wait on Charles

Aldershot could have captain Anthony Charles back for the trip to Rotherham. Defender Charles has not featured since suffering a hamstring injury against Brentford in November but is back in light training and could travel up the M1 for a repeat of last season`s play-off semi-final. Manager Kevin Dillon said: "Having a game postponed last week has been beneficial for Anthony Charles because he is back training with us now. "But we have to closely monitor his situation because we cannot afford for him to return too soon and he certainly needs a game so we can assess him." Striker Damian Spencer will visit a specialist later this month as he continues his recovery from a knee injury so is out, while John Halls is also unavailable. The former Reading man - who has been made available for transfer along with Manny Panther - is struggling with a groin problem.
