Shots Make Another Loan Signing

Shots manager Dean Holdsworth has made another loan signing. Aldershot Town have signed 21 year-old striker Luke Medley on a one-month loan from Mansfield Town. Described as a quick and strong striker, Medley has five goals in 22 appearances for The Stags this season in the Blue Square Bet Conference Premier, but he has fallen out of favour at the Nottinghamshire based club and in February 2011, he asked to go out on loan, with Mansfield's new manager Duncan Russell saying: "He is not training hard enough and he has upset other players. "You are trying to do things but you have a young man bucking the trend. I have to be fair to everyone and Luke won't feature unless he changes his professional attitude and opinions." A former youth team player at Tottenham Hotspur, Medley scored with his first touch in the Football League, a spectacular strike for Bradford City in August 2007 and has since also played for Barnet, with further loan spells at Cambridge City, Havant and Waterlooville and Woking, and will be available for tonights npower League Two fixture against Gillingham.
