Ruiz Returns
Aldershot Town have re-signed Venezuelan goalkeeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz on non-contract terms until the endof the season. The 26-year-old originally joined the Club in April 2007, and featured in the Blue Square Premier title-winning squad. He is best remembered for his role in winning the Setanta Shield in 2008, when, in saving a penalty in extra time as well as making the trophy-winning save in the penalty shoot-out, he was the hero of the Final victory over Rushden and Diamonds. In total he made 61 appearances for the club in his first spell; his final two appearances coming in the Play-Off semi-final matches versus Rotherham United in May 2010. Jaimez-Ruiz will provide experienced back-up to first choice goalkeeper Jamie Young.
