Out of favour midfielder moves up north.

Aldershot Town midfielder Manny Panther has joined Conference side Grimsby Town on a months loan.

The 27-year-old Glaswegian-born player has made 26 appearances for the club since his arrival in the summer of 2010 from Exeter City however Manny has not started a league fixture for the club this season and it is believed that boss DeanHoldsworth is keen to get the player off the books in order to free up some funds.

The loan spell will run up to the 7th January 2012.

Meanwhile, winger Adam Smith who was on loan to the Shots from Mansfield Town, has returned to the Stags following his successful loan spell in order to be treated for a minor back strain.

here is good news in that Adam Mekki has returned from his loan spell at Dorchester Town and Henrik Breimyr has also returned following his loan spell with Eastleigh.
