Morgan: I'm staying with Shots

Marvin Morgan is ignoring speculation linking him with other clubs and has reiterated his desire to remain with Aldershot for the forthcoming season. The striker, who scored 16 goals in all competitions last term, has been linked with moves to Gillingham, Peterborough, Swindon and Wycombe. But the 27-year-old told his club's official website: "We have a lot of new players in for the new season to shake it up a bit and there will be more to come in too. "Competition in the squad is good and it makes you stay on your toes. From my point of view I want to have a better season than last time around and add to the 16 goals. "It will be my third season at the club and there has been plenty of speculation. I am still here and hopefully that will nip all the talk in the bud. "When the talk first started last Christmas time it did unsettle me because I didn't know what was happening but now I am using my experience to get on with my job which is to play for Aldershot Town. We have high expectations here and we have to ensure that we keep that up."
