Aldershot will again be without winger Jermaine McGlashan for the visit of Port Vale. McGlashan was rested for last weekend's draw at Northampton as he attempts to overcome a bout of shin splints and is likely to be missing again. Manager Dean Holdsworth has an otherwise fully-fit squad available after midfielder John Halls returned from a long-term groin problem. Youngster Jack Randall broke his leg while on loan at Didcot Town recently and is a long-term absentee, striker Damian Spencer is still on loan at Eastbourne and defender Anthony Straker is at Wycombe. Winger Albert Jarrett will again be in the squad after he joined on a month`s loan from Lincoln but striker Reece Connolly has joined Dorchester on loan.
