Machala is new Shots chief
Aldershot have confirmed Kris Machala as their new chairman with John Leppard taking the position of vice chairman.
Directors Michael McGinty, Tony Cotugno and Peter Bloomfield make up the rest of the club's board. McGinty is the son of former chairman John, who died last year.
A statement from chief executive Peter Duffy on the club's official website read: "It is our intention to continue to strengthen the organisation of our board with the appointment of our board with the appointment of three to five additional directors during the next year or two.
"Ultimately, we will have a very strong team of directors, capable and determined to advance the club with a sound financial foundation. Your ongoing support of the board is important and appreciated."
