New Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth admitted he couldn`t have asked for a better start as his first home game in charge ended in a 1-0 win against Bradford. A goal from skipper Anthony Charles was enough for the Shots to condemn the Bantams to a third straight defeat. Holdsworth said: "I`m really chuffed for the players and for the fans as they`ve been starved of home wins and there is no better start for me. "The clean sheet is just as important to me as the goal and I thought the back four were tremendous. "There`s more to build on, but to get a win in my first home game is fantastic. "I thought we started the game really well and created some good chances throughout and could have had more goals and it was a good contest by both teams."
