Holdsworth relishing Shots challenge
New manager Dean Holdsworth is confident of reviving Aldershot`s season.
Holdsworth left Newport County to take the reins at the Recreation Ground and believes the squad is strong enough to ease clear of the relegation zone in League Two.
He said: "I`m delighted to be managing in the Football League and I feel like it`s the next chapter in my life.
"I worked very hard at Newport and left them in a very strong position and now I am excited to get going here.
"Results haven`t gone as they would have liked at Aldershot but I don`t believe they are far away. There is a good group of players here and I may add one or two this month.
"Hopefully this will be the lift they need."
