Local Shots hero Danny Hilton has confirmed that he is leaving the club after seven years.
As one of the players who is out of contract on July 1st, last season’s joint top scorer is believed to have attracted interest from Crawley Town, Peterborough United and Shrewsbury Town and speaking to the Aldershot News, he said: “It’s very sad to see the club go through these tough times but there is a good manager and a good bulk of players at the club and I’m sure, with the support of the fans, they will get through it.”
