Herd boost for Shots

Aldershot defender Ben Herd will return for the trip to Oxford. The right-back missed the 2-0 defeat to Cheltenham last weekend with a thigh injury and was also rested for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Bristol Rovers in midweek. But he is now fit to start as manager Kevin Dillon returns to his first-choice XI after making changes for the cup tie. Dillon made four changes against Rovers but the likes of Marvin Morgan, Glen Little, Darren Jones and Ben Harding could all return. Midfielder Manny Panther has returned from a toe injury and should also be in the starting line-up. Jermaine McGlashan was handed a rare start against Rovers and impressed so could be in line to keep his place.
