Halls in Shots frame
John Halls is pushing to make his first appearance of the season for Aldershot against Oxford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The midfielder has not played since last season`s play-off defeat to Rotherham due to a groin injury, but he managed 90 minutes for the reserves in a friendly at Bristol City last week and was an unused substitute against Stevenage on Saturday.
Boss Kevin Dillon has a settled starting line-up but could be prepared to shuffle his pack and give Halls a run-out.
Striker Damian Spencer has also put himself in the frame to start for the first time this term after his goalscoring cameo from the bench secured a 1-1 draw at the weekend.
Youngster Jack Randall is still out with a fractured ankle but Dillon has an otherwise full-strength squad.
