Guttridge back for Shots

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth looks likely to recall Luke Guttridge to his squad for the match at Morecambe. The midfielder was left out of the impressive 2-2 draw away to League Two leaders Chesterfield on Saturday as a precaution after suffering a groin strain. Top-scorer Wade Small had to settle for a late substitute appearance against the Spireites after suffering from food poisoning but after making a full recovery will be pushing for a starting place. However, Holdsworth may decide to stick with an unchanged starting XI after they performed so well at the weekend in securing a share of the spoils at the b2net stadium. Transfer-listed midfielder Manny Panther should therefore retain his place after been handed his first start under Holdsworth against Chesterfield along with striker Peter Vincenti who was also reinstated into the starting 11. Midfielder John Halls is still a couple of weeks away from a return to action as he continues to struggle with a long-standing groin injury that has restricted him to only eight appearances this season the last of which came in October.
