Goalkeeping Coach Released

Aldershot Town goalkeeping coach Alan Knight has been released by the club following this contract coming to an end. The former Portsmouth keeper, Alan Knight has been released from his goalkeeping role at the EBB Stadium following his contract coming to an end. Alan, who will celebrate his 50th birthday tomorrow (Friday 3rd June), initially became part of the coaching set up when he replaced Paul Priddy in December 2009 soon after the arrival of his former Portsmouth team mate Kevin Dillon as as the clubs manager. Speaking to the clubs official website, current Shots boss Dean Holdsworth said: "I would like to thank Alan for the work he has undertaken at Aldershot Town. "I enjoyed working with him and wish him every success in the future."
