Aldershot Town boss Kevin Dillon has told the Aldershot News that he would be interested in bringing Damian Spencer back to the club. The Aldershot News has been speaking to Shots manager Kevin Dillon following a busy week on the player front and he reiterated his intention to bring in a more experienced forward back into the club on loan: Damian Spencer, who was on loan from Kettering last season but failed to score. “Damian is an example of a player that the coaching staff know has the right attributes,” said Dillon. “He was very unlucky not to score a goal last season. He did well for us. He is an Emile Heskey type of player — he may not score but he is very valuable to the team.” Dillon continued: “Damian may not be appreciated by some supporters but I can tell you that he is certainly appreciated by his team-mates. His power, work and attitude are things I would like to have in the squad. "But he is Kettering’s player, so we'll have to see."
