Dillon slams `unprofessional` Halls

Aldershot boss Kevin Dillon was left disappointed by the petulant behaviour of John Halls after the experienced midfielder saw red in a 3-0 reserve-team loss to Brighton on Tuesday. The dismissal, given in the sixth minute for an off-the-ball incident, left Aldershot facing the majority of the encounter with only 10 men and they were duly undone by a strong Seagulls side. Dillon had no qualms with the decision by the referee and was angered by Halls` behaviour, which now leaves him facing a likely three-match suspension. "I have seen the incident on the video after the match and John left the referee with no alternative. He had to go and it was extremely unprofessional." said Dillon. "The matter will be dealt with internally and John is likely to be banned for three first-team matches which is the last thing he needs at the current moment in time."
