Dillon Remains Level Headed After Poor Performance

Shots manager Kevin Dillon remained calm after his side produced one of the most lackluster performances of their season at such an important stage. Shots boss Kevin Dillon spoke to his sides official website www.theshots.co.uk following Tuesday evenings 2-0 home defeat against struggling Torquay United and admitted: "We never got started." He continued: "It was one of those games that just didn't happen. We were bright and alert in the build up and I couldn't see it coming to be honest. "We have had to chop and change a little bit tonight but there are no excuses.  The first goal we conceded was poor but Torquay deserved to win and we were very poor in all areas of the pitch. "We have a capable squad here though and the only reason we are in this position and attracting the publicity that we have recently is because of the players.  Without the players you stand still. "We are in a great position and everybody would have taken where we are at the moment before the start of the season." The Shots are next in action this coming Saturday when Crewe Alexandra make the trip to the EBB Stadium. Picture with thanks to Ian Morsman.
