Dillon Looking Forwards To Cheltenham Challenge

23 April 2010 08:43
Shots boss Kevin Dillon has spoken to the clubs official website ahead of tomorrow afternoon's vital League Two fixture against Cheltenham Town. With three Coca Cola League Two matches remaining the destiny of Aldershot Town's season remains in their own hands. Manager Kevin Dillon will be boosted with this fact and is also aware that his team have been more polished on the road in recent weeks than at the EBB Stadium. It was a point he noted talking to The Shots Online. He said, "I know that we have a lot of supporters going to this one and it is a lovely stadium. They will make a lot of noise and that will be terrific. Our performances have been more solid on the road whereas sometimes at home we go a bit gung ho and lose our shape. "There is a buzz around the club at the moment. I really enjoyed the fans forum earlier in the week. The turn out was fantastic and it was really positive. Hopefully the fans will have a different insight about me and the club. Gary and I enjoyed meeting them. I am not the kind of manager who instigates relationships with people whilst the game is going on because I tend to concentrate on my job and looking after the team. It was noticeable that the club is number one priority for so many of the fans."
