Dillon happy with progress

Kevin Dillon revealed he was pleased with his Aldershot side's unbeaten run this season but disappointed not to take all three points as they drew 1-1 with Stevenage. Chris Beardsley gave Stevenage the lead in the 53rd minute but Aldershot hit back through Damien Spencer before Marvin Morgan had a penalty saved in the 85th minute that would have clinched victory. Dillon commented: "I've said to Marv you've got to pick your corners and smash it, but the keeper's guessed well. He'll pick himself up, he's a good lad. "He's been unlucky, he's had a few blocks and then came his penalty. You've got to give them credit for their organisation, they really held firm at the back. "We had them penned in for long periods in the first half but they got the goal. We've shown great spirit and responded well to being a goal behind. "Last season we were a bit more direct but this season we are looking to play a bit more and that helped with the goal. Obviously I'm happy we are still undefeated, but naturally I am disappointed we didn't get all three points"
