Dillon happy with formation

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon will not be swayed into changing his formation. The Shots boss has settled on a 4-2-3-1 system this season, and despite some sections of support showing concern at a lack of goals, Dillon is determined to stick to his guns. He said: "We have settled on this formation. "There are mutterings that it doesn't look like we are going to score goals but we had so many chances on Saturday. And we restricted Northampton to just two, which is amazing at this level. "The performances are going well but we're not quite getting the results that match. Whereas last year our performances were not that good - but we were getting results. "I much prefer the way we are playing now than last season and I trust it better. We've just got to hang in there. We'll be fine because I trust the players. And the system is fine. I'm not bothered about what anyone else thinks. I'm happy with it."
