Dillon hails resilience

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon praised his players' never-say-die attitude after the 1-1 draw with Northampton. Ben Harding lashed home a last-gasp equaliser to cancel out Billy McKay's strike 10 minutes before the break. "We kept going and kept going and got our reward. I thought a draw was the least that we deserved," said Dillon. "We need to score more goals as we are certainly creating the chances. If we had scored a couple of minutes earlier I think we could have gone on and won the game. "Credit to Northampton they dug in and they blocked everything. In the first half I thought we looked a bit tired and too many passes went astray. "But in the second half we were a lot more direct and we caused them problems. We are drawing too many games at the moment but I am convinced we will be okay."
