Dillon delighted with slick Shots

Kevin Dillon expects confidence to be high in his Aldershot squad following the 1-0 win at Oxford. The Shots had Jamie Vincent sent off after 43 minutes at the Kassam Stadium following two yellow cards for separate challenges on Alfie Potter, but overcame that setback to run out 1-0 victors thanks to Marvin Morgan's fourth goal of the season just before the hour mark. Morgan's third goal in his last four games made it back-to-back away wins for Aldershot and Dillon said: "We're building momentum now, I really believe that. "It's two away wins in a row and the lads will have gained so much confidence from this win. Marvin Morgan was the difference. It's Marvin two-touch, as I call him. When he's running away from defenders with the ball, he's a real handful. "We started off very poorly and for the first 20 minutes, Oxford were outstanding and Alfie Potter was causing us a lot of problems. But when you play with three up front, and have a lot of movement as they had, that sometimes leaves gaps and we were able to exploit that. "We had chances on the counter-attack. Then when we were down to 10 men, I thought we held them quite well. I've got no arguments with the sending-off, but that's two challenges, it's all it was."
