Shots midfielder Lewis Chalmers looks set to have made his final appearance in a Shots shirt. Manager Kevin Dillon has confirmed that midfielder Lewis Chalmers is due to join Oxford United until the end of the season. Lewis will be pairing up with striker John Grant, who has also recently joined the Conference leaders on loan in a similar deal. The 24-year-old Mancunian joined the club in the summer of 2007 as Gary Waddock's first signing and made his debut in the opening match of the 2007/08 season at Kidderminster Harriers. In total, Lewis has made 93 + 12 appearances for Aldershot Town, netting four goals. His last match was the 2-0 defeat at Hereford United last month; he has been a non-playing substitute in the last four matches.
