Kabba strike gets Bees buzzing

Striker Steve Kabba came off the bench to inspire Barnet to come from behind and beat Aldershot 2-1.

Danny Hylton's fifth goal in his last four games threatened to end the Shots' four-game losing run but Kabba's 63rd minute penalty drew the Bees level before Ricky Holmes fired the winner 10 minutes from time.

On 13 minutes, the visitors' Aaron Morris hit a thumping 20-yard drive which cannoned back off the post.

However, the Shots did take the lead when Hylton expertly took Ben Herd's ball in his stride before firing home.

Kabba made an immediate impact after coming on at half time. The former Sheffield United man saw a shot cleared off the line by Darren Jones after strike partner Izale McLeod had a goal ruled out for offside.

But veteran Kabba did draw the Bees level when he was taken out by Herd inside the area and slammed the resulting penalty to the keeper's left.

After Mark Marshall's deflected effort struck the bar for the hosts, the winner arrived when McLeod's shot was saved and Holmes slotted in the rebound.
