No Vincenti for Shots Suspended midfielder Peter Vincenti will miss Aldershot's home clash against York. Vincenti was shown a red card in injury time during last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Accrington following an off-the-ball incident with matchwinner Padraig Amond and will now serve a three-match ban. Long-term absentees Ross Worner (back) and Craig Stanley (broken leg) remain sidelined. Manager Dean Holdsworth has no other injury concerns and will be looking for a response from his Shots side following the last-gasp defeat at the Crown Ground. Just two wins from their opening eight games has left the Hampshire club struggling at the wrong end of the table but they welcome a York side who are just two points better off. York's Matty Blair is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up, while summer signing Oli Johnson could make his first appearance. Blair last started against Chesterfield earlier this month and has struggled to force his way back in after injury, with Michael Coulson, Jason Walker and Ashley Chambers preferred up front by manager Gary Mills. But Mills hinted Blair may have done enough to earn a recall after firing two goals for the reserves in midweek and suggested former Norwich forward Johnson could be handed his chance after recovering from a groin injury. York are again expected to be without centre-half Clarke Carlisle as he is still struggling to shake off an ankle injury - Chris Doig is likely to continue in his place - and midfielder Scott Kerr (knee ligaments) is not yet ready for action despite a recent return to full training. Defender David McGurk, sidelined since the turn of the year due to throat, knee and calf problems, could also return to the squad after a successful 90-minute midweek run-out for the reserves.
