Appiah ready for Shots bow Kwesi Appiah is set to make his Aldershot debut at home to Morecambe.

The forward arrived on a month-long loan deal from Crystal Palace earlier this week and goes straight into manager Dean Holdsworth's plans as Aldershot aim to end a four-match winless sequence in the league.

Appiah will certainly boost goal-shy Shots' attacking options, with Danny Hylton, the club's top scorer last season, serving the final game of his eight-match suspension for racial abuse before returning to contention at home to Barnet on Tuesday.

Striker Michael Rankine has overcome a slight knock picked up in the closing stages of last weekend's 2-2 draw at Bristol Rovers. Long-term absentees Craig Stanley (broken leg) and Ross Worner (back) continue to miss out.

Andy Fleming is set to return for Morecambe after overcoming the effects of a virus. Fleming was instrumental in the Shrimps' impressive start to the season, scoring in the shock Capital One Cup win at Blackpool before bagging a brace in the npower League Two opener against Exeter. But he was forced to sit out last weekend as Lancashire neighbours Fleetwood ran riot with a 4-0 win at the Globe Arena.

Elsewhere, Jim Bentley has no injury concerns with the exception of long-term victim Danny Carlton (knee) and the the manager is demanding a reaction to their derby thrashing. "Too many players were off the pace and individual errors proved costly," he told the Lancaster Guardian. "I've been looking at my own decisions and with hindsight could have done a couple of things differently but we have to realise quickly that everyone has off days and the strongest sides put it to the back of their minds as soon as possible."
